I’ve been using this Tallow Balm for a week now, and I can confidently say it’s a game changer! My winter skin was looking rough—dry, flaky, and honestly, a little embarrassing. But since incorporating this into my routine (after washing my face and using a hydrating Witch Hazel), my skin has completely transformed.Not only is my skin deeply hydrated, but it actually looks healthier. This review is for Natureboost Organics Tallow Balm. The product received does appear to match what is shown in the product photos. Right away, I was most impressed that the container is glass and the lid is bamboo. This is a big plus for those who are wishing to minimize microplastic exposure. The consistency of the balm is similar to others I've used. Since it does not have added fragrance, you may notice a slight beef smell if you apply it to your face and your nose is sensitive enough. I have a VERY strong sense of smell and although I could detect it, it was not enough to bother me. I only needed a small amount to use on my face. Although I can see it on, it did not look too oily (which is a common problem for me). More like a healthy dew look. I decided to apply some on a couple of areas with rough skin (heels and elbows) and have been noticing some improvement. It can take some getting used to, but this is a helpful product.

In the past year I've tried several different tallow balms, and this is by far the most luxuriously smooth tallow I have tried! It is just lovely! I got to try this for free through the Vine program, and after trying it I went and bought more to stock up!! In addition to using it at home, this unscented tallow will be perfect for work and other places where people have different scent sensitivities. I have some skin issues on my hands and forearms so that's where I typically use the tallow as I know it's nourishing for my skin. I know this is labeled as a facial moisturizer but don't limit your use to just your face - it's good for other places too!

This Tallow balm is fantastic. It is a true thick balm that super moisturizes.I have skin sensitivities and most facial products cause a reaction. I did not have any type of reaction to this product.You can tell this is a natural product.The balm does not smell the best. but I would rather have the natural smell then add fragrance.Use just a dab because it goes a long ways. It feels kind of thick on your face, but just give it a minute and it will absorb right in.I recommend this product and especially if you have skin sensitivities.Five stars for an excellent product

The Tallow Balm was really a change for me from the typical moisturizer. The first thing I noticed was that you can smell the tallow right away. It's not unpleasant, it's just different from the scented moisturizers. Once you put it on (and you don't need much!), the tallow scent goes away quickly. I think the biggest difference I saw with Tallow Balm is that it is not as quickly absorbed as the store stuff because store stuff is typically thinner. I don't think that's a bad thing, just allow for a little extra time to absorb completely. I'm doing my moisturizing with it at night now and it's working great for me.

What a great natural cream! It is made of organic beef tallow and jojoba oil. The texture is like that of whipped petroleum jelly and it glides on smooth. There is a slightly greasy feel to it but it absorbs well and moisturizes for the long haul. Initially, there is a slight odor of beef tallow but it fades quickly. No worries there! Great value for a high quality item!

I am obsessed with this tallow balm, it's exactly what I was looking for! The texture is like frosting, which is perfect - I really dislike the ones where it's more stiff like a beeswax. A little goes a long way and completely moisturized my sensitive/rosacea prone skin without any irritation.There's no leftover greasy feeling at all, nor any shine. It completely dissolves into the skin after no more than 3 minutes. There is a very, very slight tallow scent when you first apply or sniff it in the container. Once applied though, I didn't smell anything after 5 minutes. Truly, unscented.The packaging is lovely and the outer box is crystal clear when it comes to ingredients, sustainability, etc.Looking forward to trying the sunscreen version as well, and if it's ever sold in a bigger container, I'll be first in line!(Amazon shipping left the outer packaging a little beat up but no effect on the product.)

As an older female, I really appreciate this tallow balm for my dry skin. It melts right in to my skin. It's great after I wash my face for helping seal in moisture. I also love that it has no added fragrance or unpronounceable chemicals. It has a slight, natural odor in the jar, but I find it undetectable on my skin.

This balm is unlike any of the others I have ordered and I have to say it is by far my favorite! A little bit goes a long way and sure makes your hands feel like silk. There is no odor at all and it is exceptionally creamy. It feels as though this tallow balm was created with such care and love and real thoughtfulness went into it. I can tell the difference of the absence of beeswax and the inclusion of jojoba oil makes a huge difference in how it spreads and feels. Buy with confidence as this is a beautiful and well made product.

This is my first attempt at using tallow as a moisturizer. I probably would not have tried tallow if it wasn't directly offered to me. I don't know why, but the idea of using tallow seemed weird and like a gimmick. But, I am super sensitive to lots of chemicals in standard moisturizer products (including many oils), so I figured it was not a terrible idea to try an ultra natural, 2 ingredient product. I'm almost 50, and I use a type of retinol, so moisturizer is vital to keep my skin from being dry and flaky.I did look into the use of tallow as a facial moisturizer and some sources say it's highly comodogenic and some say it's not comodogenic at all, so there's not a consensus on that. I am prone to clogged pores and have not had a problem so far.When I first opened this product I was pleased that there is no noticeable odor and the product is indeed whipped and fluffy. I also appreciate that it is packaged nicely in a glass jar with a bamboo lid. On my first use, I was immediately struck that I had no stinging, or irritation, from the dry areas of my face, which often happens around my eyes. I do feel the moisturizer on my skin for a significant period of time after application, but it doesn't bother me. I don't regularly wear makeup so I can't comment on whether makeup applies well over the moisturizer. I will definitely continue using this specific Natureboost Whipped Tallow because my facial skin feels and looks good when I use it.
